I just realized that it has been over a year since I have been on here. I guess I really need to stay on top of things.
Well the short and sweet of it ... it has been a very busy year. We finely got a house, I love it! I started working, Billy started preschool and Dusty started working for Eli. He gets to travel all over Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakoda and Kansas. Rendezvous was rainy, snowy and windy. That was after the site got flooded out and we found somewhere else to hold it.
In June the kids got out of school and then we started the running back and forth to friends houses for parties and sleep overs, or running friends and cousins home from sleep overs. With June also came the warmer weather and the BUGS. Oh man do I ever NOT love the bugs. We added a few more animals to our funny farm, and had to get rid of our Toby.
Summer has been a lot of Family BBQ's, get togethers and a reunion. Summer has gone so fast this year. I can't believe the kids start school in just 28 days! We haven't even done the things we wanted to the summer. Bear Lake is just getting warm! But with the end of summer comes HUNTING season. I can't wait! I'm got get me another big buck this year (I hope) I really could use the meat. After buying beef for the last few months, I really miss my deer burger. It's so much healthier and way less greasy.
August will be the start of new adventures as Billy starts Kindergarten, Rhett starts middle school and Chyanne starts junior high. WOW they are growing up so fast!

It's all in Gods hands.
With everything going in our lives right now it has been so crazy and fuzz. Between trying to find somewhere to live and finding steady work for Dusty, things are all up in the air! Dusty is trying to stay busy with odd and end jobs for people we know. He is also busy with the department. I am trying to make it through summer vacation (with all the kids home). We are trying to keep our hopes up that we are where we are meant to be. I am having a hard time making myself believe it will all work out in the end. We have even talked about finding work in other places. Dusty is looking for work as a full time career Firefighter/EMT. I have to keep telling myself "It will work out the way it is meant to, It is all in God's hands. He will let us know when the time is right." There is a place for us but where it is, I just don't know right now!

Where has time gone?
Wow time is flying by Rhett turned 10 in April. He got his bear badge and advanced to Weblos. He is Pretty excited about that. Dusty and I had our 12 year anniversary. I can't even believe it has been that long. Its so crazy!!! My big brother Jeremiah got married. The wedding was in California, on the beach, at a gorgeous hotel. May ended with Rendezvous up Black Smith fork canyon. It was a great month. I got to fly for the first time. It wasn't as bad as everyone said it would be. I had a blast!
June is almost over and summer just came to Cache Valley. We finally got some sunshine and warm weather. the flowers are blooming now. The grass is finely dry, you can lay on it now and not get all wet. Now it is time for the Open House in St. George. I am so looking forward to it. Katy has an awesome family. I can't wait to see them again and introduce them to my hubby and kids.
The kids are out of school now. I love summer and sleeping in. Chyanne finished the school year on the honor role she got it all four quarters. I am a very proud mommy. Rhett is reading on a 10 grade level and still has a book in his hand every once in awhile. I try not to push too much on the reading cus I don't want to make the kids hate reading like I do.
Dusty I still busy with the fire department. I think he learns something new every time he goes down there. I love that he is always learning it keeps things interesting. I think it is a hard job to get bored with. Me I am just doing the mom thing. I did pick up a couple daycare kids. That is about all the work I can handle. Oh I did start my first bead project. It didn't work out the way I wanted. But it is pretty cool.

BUTTON
The button in the side of my bolg is for my cousin Debbie. She is wanting to adopt a little one. I am just trying to help get the word out about them. I am hoping they find a perfect angel soon. If you are interested in helping or know of an angel needing a home just click on the button and it will take you to their blog.
Not much new around here!
So there hasn't been much goin on around here. Dusty is just trying to get the odds and ends of his meny class takein care of. I am still looking for a house and trying to decide if I am goting to work fulltime or just parttime. The kids are still busy with school and being kids.
I am so ready for Rendezvous it's not funny! Ok so reslly I just want to camp and roast a dog over the fire. If we don't get more snow there wont be any campfires this year. That will be so said!!! It's not campin without a dog cooked over the fire and the kids gettin covered in burnt marshmellows. Give me snow or let the white stuff go!!!

Adventures with Dillon!
So most everyone knows about Dillon. If you don't you will find out. Dillon had surgery on the 7th of December. Everything went good (so we thought), he came home on Wednesday. By Sunday we started getting a little worried. He couldn't keep anything down. So meds were not an option. Tuesday he started having numbness on his left side, that started to move to his right side. He was walking funny, his hands wouldn't work right and had really bad headaches. He went to the ER in Logan (as ordered by the Doc that did the surgery) around 11:30am. He was back home at 6:00pm. We had no news on what the problem was.
At 12:15 am on Wednesday I woke to him screaming my name, only to find him on the floor seizing. Katie called 911 and the EMT's Dusty works with came to help. Ironically he was on call, just not as an EMT, that night. They all thought he was first on scene. He was then taken to the hospital again. Came home at 4:00am and we were told he could do it again. At around 7:00am Dillon yelled out "Mom it's starting again." Dusty who was headed out the door for work. Ran to help Katie. Again 911 was called. Dillon was being very strong and grown up. He told Katie not to cry, that he would be ok, don't cry. We got the same EMT's and Paramedics as earlier. Dusty is still on call at this point and still not as an EMT.
All the EMT's and Paramedics were very confused about the fact that Dillon was talking to use through the seizures. He was telling us where it was starting and where it was moving to. It was very strange. Confused everyone even the Docs.
Dillon was taken to the hospital again. At around 3:00 pm he was transported to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. The same Paramedics took Dillon to Salt Lake City. There more of the same tests were done and some new ones. It was found the Dillon had a blood clot that went from the nostril, area up his skull around the back of his head and splits going to both ears.
Dillon came home From PCH on Sunday Dec. 20 2009. He came home with a "Seizure Action Plan" and more meds, including a shot twice a day and seizure pills. So far things are good. He can go back to school on the 11th of January. But still has to take it slow, not too much excitement or over stimulation. He should get off the meds in about six months and be able to drive a few months later.
I am sure glad that mu hubby and sister understand the words the Docs use. Because I sure don't!
All and all Katie, Dillon and Eli spent about a week and a half in the Hostital. Me, I got the other kids and Dusty, he had class. We took the kids to our Christmas patries (for the Hooton side) and tried to make things as fun as possible for them. It was a very scary thing to go through and I hope I never have to again!

Welcome Back !!!
Ok, Ok I really suck at this stuff. I haven't had Internet for a long time. We got a virus on our computer about a year age. So I dropped the Internet till I could fix it. NEVER happened. We moved in the meantime and still no Internet. Have yet to fix the computer. It is more for the kids to play games on now. But anyhoo. We moved in with Katie and now a working computer and Internet. It will only last till we move out!!! LOL.
Well things are crazy here. The kids are in school and doing great. Rhett is already reading on a level higher than that of the rest of his class. Chy has Honor Role grades and is doing very good in school. Billy is still a handful, but very cute sometimes. Dusty just started his EMT-I class and is acting Lieutenant till the end of the year. Capt. Taro is moving out of state and so they rearranged things till the end of the year. So Dusty is Acting Lieutenant Hooton. I think it is sooo cool. He is my HERO!!!! He makes me so happy. I am very proud of him.
Me I am doin the job hunt thing. Not fun!!! But I need to get out of the house. Billy is going to Pre-school soon, so I can go back to work. Should be very fun, I hope!!!

This ones for you Rhett Jackson!!!
We went to the Cache Valley Crusin over the 4th of July weekend. It was soooo much fun. The kids had a blast and I love the vintage cars. Crusin for me is a trubuite to Rhett. Rhett loved the old cars and Crusin was his thing. I was so excited to find "he's car". A 57 Chevy Bal Air red with a white top. This one is a 56 but they are basicly the same car.I found this really awesome 57 Chevy Bal Air called the "FIREBALL".

It has ghost flames down the sides. The flames are two or three shades darker and lighter that the car itself. So the sun has to hit the car just right to make the flames standout a lot.
This car is the very year the Rhett wanted. Wrong coloring, but I think Rhett would have been just fine with this car!!!!
This ones for you Rhett! We love you, and miss you more and more each day!

What's New
So thing are not as busy right now. Dusty just finished his classes, he just has all the state testing to finish. things are winding down with katie's house also. We have less than a month to finish everything. She has to refinance on the 1st of Aug. I think everything will be done. The deck on the back of the house is soooo nice. The bathroom is done and the bedrooms just need carpet. It looks nice.
When does school start? The kids have had enough summer already. Sometimes I wonder if summer is to long. it wasn't when I was in school, but now it is way to long!!!!!
We are trying the potty training thing again. Not going so well! Somedays he is very interested and others not at all. We will just keep at it.
We went to the fireworks in Hyrum last night. That was fun till we saw a girl get hit by a car. The kids loved the fireworks and didn't know about the accedent until it was all over. Billy slept through most of them. Tonight is the Logan ones and the start of Crusin. I am so excited I love the old cars. This time of year makes me think about Rhett soooo much. Between Father's day The fireworks and Crusin' he is always on my mind. I miss him so much. Wish I could see and talk to him. I would Love for him to see my babies and meet my honey. I think they would be the best of friends.
Nap time is over, here come the kids!!!

This is my Life
Well I figured this is going to be the best way for people to keep up dated on my life. Let me interduce you to my family.
And my beautiful Babies:
Rhett, William, Chyanne
and the Puppies, Dayz and Toby, and of course our Hide-E Roo, the Iguna.
For those who don't know we moved in to a house last October. It is sooo nice to have a place that fits all our stuff and still have room to move around. Our place is the new hangout for family get togethers. I luv it, I always wanted a place that was big enough to have the whole family at. The back yard is huge! It is so cool, we even have a fire pit. Good thing my honey is a FireFighter, He will come in handy when I try to start a fire in it!
The Babies are doing great Chy & Rhett are so stinkin smart. Both are doing great in school. Way better than I ever did. Billy he keeps me on my toes!!!! He is to Smart for his own good. I think he is my brothers all bundled up in one. Smart as a whip and in to everything! Hopefully I can get him Potty trained complety now that I am not working. I think that was the best choice I have made in a while.
Things are pretty busy around here with school, work (4 jobs for dusty), house cleaning, snow shoveling and just playing with the kids. But we are doing great. I wouldn't change any of it for anything!!!!!
